New Year Message from Giles Hayhurst - Managing Director
It’s been a busy year,
kicking off with an excellent Glassex for Windowlink, despite
jaundiced comments from some. Throughout 2003 we’ve released
new features for our Vector conservatory and Focus window
sales presentation packages. Overall the year has brought
growth and a 30% increase in sales, culminating in the move to
bigger premises in the heart of Cirencester.
While retail sales remain
buoyant, particularly in conservatories, it makes it harder
for us to convince people to invest in software to help them
sell more! However, demand for our pricing software continues
to grow as clever conservatory retailers realise the benefits
of preparing an accurate quote in seconds and eliminating
costly mistakes. It also helps instil customer confidence as
the price is calculated there and then which at the same time
demonstrates that there are no hidden extras. And as consumer
expectations rise those retailers who can’t produce a speedy
professional quotation could well start to lose out.
Favourable market conditions
look set to continue throughout 2004 and we’ll be
concentrating on selling the business benefits of our software
as well as its features.
There will be new additions to our presentation programs and
watch out for the launch of a brand new manufacturing package
at Glassex 2004. Having just secured our most prestigious
account to date with one of the top national retailers,
we’re certainly ending 2003 on a high note and look forward
to spring boarding into another good year.
